The Joint Secretary, Home Affairs Sambhu Singh will sign the pact in presence of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and top officials at North Block.

Meanwhile, in an interesting development six leaders of the ANVC were airlifted from the marooned Garo Hill districts to the national capital on Tuesday for the signing of the tripartite peace agreement.

The militant leaders, who were stranded at a forest near Rari near Bajengdoba were airlifted in a Home Ministry chopper and were later flown by a plane from Guwahati to New Delhi.
