Jowai student killed in K’taka

JOWAI: Unknown misc-reants allegedly on Monday murdered a final year Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS) student, Banker Passah (23) of Chilliangraij, Jowai at Dharwad, Karnataka. The family sources said that Banker was doing his final year BHMS degree at Dr. BD Jatti Homeopathic Medical College, Dharwad in Karnataka.

“He was killed by unknown miscreants and later dumped his body near a railway track at Dharbad. He resides at Keshav Nagar, SBI Colony in Dharwad”, family sources said.

The victim is the son of Biency Passah and Marwan Shylla, an engineer with the MeECL.

The body will be arriving here on Tuesday.
