Luke Wilson to join Will Smith’s NFL concussion drama

Actor Luke Wilson has been attached to act alongside Will Smith in an untitled NFL football concussion drama. Wilson, 43, is in talks to play NFL commissioner Roger Goodell in the movie, which also stars Alec Baldwin, Albert Brooks, Gugu Mbatha Raw and Paul Reiser, reported The Wrap. David Morse and Arliss Howard are also said to be nearing deals to join the Ridley Scott-produced movie which will see Peter Landesman in the directors chair. Based on Jeanne Marie Laskas’ GQ article ‘Game Brain’, the drama tells the story of Dr Bennet Omalu (Smith), a forensic neuropathologist who was the first to discover chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) in NFL football players. Jackie Earle Haley joined the cast ‘London Has Fallen’

Actor Jackie Earle Haley has been added to the cast of 2013’s ‘Olympus Has Fallen’ sequel ‘London Has Fallen’. The 53-year-old Oscar-nominated actor will join original cast members Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, Morgan Freeman, Angela Bassett and Radha Mitchell, who will all be reprising their roles for the sequel, reported The Wrap. The film will revolve around a plot involving a strike in London during the funeral of the British Prime Minister. Although no character details have been revealed for the character, Haley will play Deputy Chief Mason.(PTI)

Clooney faces 50,000 pounds bill for marital house

Actor George Clooney and his wife Amal Alamuddin have just had a wedding of their dreams, but now face a 50,000 pounds bill to protect their luxury British home from Thames river.The actor had bought Aberlash Manor in Sonning, Berkshire, unaware he would have to spend about 50,000 pounds on flood defences because it’s so close to Thames,it was reported. According to The Sun, a source said “George and Amal were caught seemingly unaware” of the danger and flood experts have had to be called in.They planned a pumping system and put out emergency sandbags after it was deemed a “serious risk” with the water rising over a metre above sea level.(ians)
