GNLA camp busted

SHILLONG: A GNLA camp was busted in West Garo Hills and police recovered arms and ammunition from the site on Tuesday. According to police, on Tuesday afternoon, the SWAT and SOT team from Tura managed to reach the GNLA camp at Sakalgre village under Rongram outpost where there was an exchange of fire between GNLA and police. While police recovered arms and ammunition, a few senior GNLA cadres including Baichung escaped.
