Minor girl found

On Oct 14 around 12.30 am, one minor girl (4/5), apparently a Khasi, was found at Mawlai Iewrynghep, Shillong, She is presently in safe custody at Mawlai PS.

ATM fraud

On October 13, one lady (name withheld on request) received a phone call from an anonymous caller claiming to be an employee of SBI who asked for her ATM details and the same was passed to him in good faith. Later, she received an SMS alert on her phone that an online purchase of Rs.15,800 was debited from her account.

Hostel trespass

On October 11 around 7.30 pm, security personnel apprehended one Waikhon Bandesh (31) while he along with his accomplice was attempting to enter the MBBS Girls Hostel at NEIGRIHMS, Mawdiangdiang (EKH).

Assault

On October 12 around 1 am, one Bimol Das assaulted his wife Ambika Das and his mother in their residence at Pohkseh, Shillong. Victims sustained injuries.

On October 13 around 1 pm, unidentified miscreants assaulted Nodir L Mawlong (60) at Mawryngkneng (EKH). Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong.

Motorcycle stolen

On October 12, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-05K-4926) belonging to Giriraj Mangal from his residence at Jylli Shop, Nongthymmai, Shillong.

Theft

On October 12 daytime, unknown miscreants stole one laptop computer and one Nikon digital camera belonging to Phirap Surong from the Hostel of St. Thomas Higher Secondary School at Rynjah, Shillong.
