Complaint against ‘illegal business’

SHILLONG: Former KSU leader and president of UDP’s Mylliem unit, Hamlet Dohling has filed an FIR against a government registered contractor for allegedly illegally operating his business at Umshyrpi bridge.

In the FIR, Dohling said that one Susil S Sangma, who is a government registered contractor and order supplier, is illegally operating his business of selling sand and bricks at Umshyrpi bridge since 2010.

The UDP leader said that the concerned land belongs to PWD (NH) and the contractor has no right to use the land for his personal benefit.
