Joel’s 30th minute strike sees Blues home

SHILLONG: Rangdajied United made their way past Meghalaya Police after Joel Ayeni impressed again by scoring in the first half in their SPL match on Friday at Polo Grounds, here in Shillong.
Rangdajied failed to score following the half time break but a 30th minute conversion ensured a tight finish that went in favour of the Blues with 1-0 win.
In the Second Division match,Riatsamthiah smashed four goals past Umpling. A. Myrboh scored  in the 45th and 69th minutes while T. Shabong (50”) and F. Shadap (64”)  scored one each.
Meanwhile, Jongksha drew 1-1 with Mawkriah in a Third Division match. Jongksha’s S. Rynjah scored for Jongksha  while S. Suting equalised for Mawkriah.
