SHILLONG: The 7th National Extension Education Congress-2014 (NEEC-2014) on ‘Translational Research-Extension for Sustainable Small Farm Development’ will be jointly organized by ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Umiam, Meghalaya, and Society of Extension Education, Agra, in collaboration with CAU, Imphal, ZPD, Zone-III, Umiam, Meghalaya and Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, at ICAR Research Complex, Umiam, from November 8-11.
The proposed NEEC-2014 aims at bringing together a wide array of agricultural stake holders comprising scientists, scholars, teachers, extension professionals, administrators, policy makers, field extension functionaries, innovative farmers, agri-preneurs and corporates from different parts of the country.
Over 300 delegates from different ICAR research institutes, Central and State Agricultural Universities and KVKs are expected to participate in the Congress.
