SHILLONG: Police have arrested a teacher for allegedly assaulting one minor student. Police said that on Wednesday, at about 11 am, one Sokhu Das, an assistant teacher of St. Claret School, Nongmynsong, Shillong, assaulted one minor boy Kitbanpynhun Tamsen (14) inside the school. The arrest was made following a complaint lodged at Rynjah PS.
