JOWAI: As part of the 100 Days Festival, the Soil and Water Conservation Division (T & CC) organized a cleaning drive-cum-awareness programme at Syntu Ksiar on Thursday.
Present on the occasion were Parliamentary Secretary in-charge Soil and Water Conservation Division, Comingone Ymbon, Acting Deputy Commissioner, West Jaintia Hills, DM Wahlang, Director of Soil and Water Conservation Department, D. Langstieh along with other officials and members of the Dorbar Shnong among others.
Addressing the gathering, Ymbon said, “Syntu Ksiar is a beautiful place visited by many from within and outside the State and hence it is extremely important that the tourist spot is kept clean.”
