Workshop on Conservation & Promotion of Medicinal and Aromatic plants held

NONGPOH: The office of District Basin Development, Ri Bhoi district on Tuesday organized a one-day district level workshop on conservation and promotion of medicinal and aromatic plants at Science Hall here.

The programme was attended by hundreds including farmers and traditional medical practitioners from different parts of the district.

The workshop aimed to act as a platform to generate knowledge about conservation, cultivation and use of medicinal and aromatic plants within the framework of sustainable development.
