Singer Taylor Swift says she does not regret making mistakes in her career and feels her shortcomings have often turned into her biggest victories. The 24-year-old ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker said had her life been free from hurdles, her music would have been colourless, reported E! Online. “As much as I would really like to have saved myself heartache, embarrassment or gossip, I also know that my biggest mistakes have turned into my best lessons and sometimes my greatest career triumphs. If my life had been turbulence free, no bumps in the road at all, maybe my music would be more beige,” Swift said. (PTI)
Natalie Portman to join Steve Jobs biopic
Oscar-winner Natalie Portman is reportedly in early talks to star in Universal’s biopic of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. The actress is likely to join Michael Fassbender, who is playing Jobs in the Danny Boyle-directed film, said the Hollywood Reporter. Sony Pictures had been working on developing the project, written by Aaron Sorkin, before Universal picked up the film. Many stars including Christian Bale and Leonardo DiCaprio were attached to play Jobs at various phases but the role finally went to Fassbender. (PTI)
Rita Ora to feature on Matthew Morrison album
Singer Rita Ora will perform on Matthew Morrison’s new album, a concept record for the Broadway production of ‘Finding Neverland’. The ‘Glee’ actor is thrilled the talented ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ singer will perform on the record,it was reported. Tweeting a picture of himself and Ora backstage at the American Music Awards at the weekend, Morrison wrote,”Such a great time at the American Music Awards last night with my friend Rita Ora. The New Musical concept soundtrack. Talented (sic).” The pair were seen at the awards ceremony making music with ‘Ray’ star Jamie Foxx and his daughter. (PTI)
