Minor raped
A woman lodged a complaint at Sohra PS that on November 29 at around 12.15 am, one Lumspoh Hynniewta raped her minor daughter at Khlieh Shnong, Sohra (EKH). Police arrested the accused.
Body recovered
On November 29 at around 10 am the body of Rikestine Wankhar was recovered from 7th Mile Upper Shillong.
Malicious act
A person of Polo Hills, Shillong lodged a complaint at Sadar PS that on November 28, one Elizarson Duraibabu of Chennai since many months went to his residence and misbehaved, intimidated and illegally took pictures of his wife (complainant) with malicious intention.
Trespassing
D D Shira, ADC, West Garo Hills, Tura lodged a complaint (November 28) at Tura PS that seven persons Salme Marak, Julie N Sangma,Herillla Sangma, Brejitha Sangma, Biplop Marak, Teresa Sangma and Sadona Sangma along with their families trespassed into Government plot at Dakopgre, Tura (WGH) and occupied the same.
Accident
On November 28, one Scooty (ML-05L-2722) ridden by Andrew Marbaniang knocked down one Charles Marbaniang (15) at Nongmynsong, Shillong. Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Nazareth Hospital, Shillong.
2 yr-old drowns
Limsi Lyngkhoi lodged an FIR at Mawkyrwat PS that on November 28 at around 2.30 pm, her two year old son Nongkyrshan Lyngkhoi accidentally fell into a pond at Mawlangwir village (SWKH). The boy was removed to CHC Mawkyrwat where the medical officer on duty declared him brought dead.
NGT ban violation
On November 27 at around 10.30 pm, police detected three coal laden trucks ML-04-1575, ML-04A-6745 and ML-04B-1811 driven by Marbunmi War, Denesh Syrti and Bhalang Shylla respectively at Byndihati (EJH) in violation of NGT order. Police arrested the drivers and seized the trucks
