Demand note served with bullet in NGH

SHILLONG: A bullet and a demand note placed inside an envelope was handed over to a person at Kharkutta by unidentified militants recently.

One Silnang Sangma lodged a complaint at Kharkutta Outpost that on November 30 at around 8:30 pm, two unidentified persons went to his residence at Renggok Saram (NGH) and delivered a closed cover containing one bullet and a demand note for Rs.6 lakh.

Police are investigating into the matter.
