SHILLONG: A quack has been illegally prescribing medicines in Sohra for the last several years, but the matter came to light only recently.
N. Hajong, Executive Magistrate, Sohra Civil Sub-Division, East Khasi Hills, lodged a complaint at Sohra PS recently that one Biju Basudev has been illegally prescribing medicines for the last nine years in Sohra area.
The FIR was filed following the complaints of several residents.
