Taylor Swift’s star-studded 25th birthday party
Country star Taylor Swift celebrated her 25th birthday with Beyonce and Jay Z. Swift, who reached the milestone last weekend, performed at New York City’s Jingle Ball before carrying on the party at her apartment in Tribeca. Alongside a photo of her posing with the ‘Drunk in Love’ hitmakers and Justin Timberlake, Sam Smith, Karlie Kloss and girl band HAIM, she wrote, “So this is being 25… #WHAT #bestbirthdayEVER. (sic)” Swift was also joined at the party by Emma Roberts, Ansel Elgort, Kelly Osbourne, Nick Jonas and Chrissy Teigen as well as best friend Selena Gomez. The singer shared a snap of her newly-manicured nails, which were decorated with two halves of a heart, each with a letter in: S and T. (PTI)
Simon Cowell asks One Direction to slow down
Media mogul Simon Cowell has asked boy band One Direction to slow down. Cowell, 55, who helped to put the group together on ‘The X Factor’, said he fears for the five-piece boy band, reported Contactmusic. “They can’t carry on doing the amount of stuff they’ve been doing for long because they’ll burn out – it’s a high-class problem. But they don’t complain about working hard,” he said. The ‘Steal My Girl’ hitmakers, who will embark on their third world tour next year, are “generous” to their fellow artists. “They still come down to ‘The X Factor’, into song meetings and they will text me with ideas for the contestants. They’re generous to other artists.(PTI)
My split from Orlando Bloom was tough: Miranda Kerr
Supermodel Miranda Kerr says her split from husband Orlando Bloom was tough. The 31-year-old model, who parted ways with the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ actor in 2013 after three years of marriage, said she is single and really happy to be that, reported Contactmusic. “It’s tough. It’s not easy going through all of that and I never thought I would. But we work our way through it,” she said. Kerr also revealed that the pair, who have three-year-old Flynn together, want to make things as easy as possible for their son. “We agree on pretty much everything when it comes to Flynn,” she said. Bloom recently confirmed that the pair would be spending Christmas together. (PTI)
