Accident
On December 22 at around 1.40 am, one truck (number not known) dashed against one Tata Sumo (ML-05L-9415) driven by Biblop Deb at Ryndangbriew, Shillong. As a result, driver and one occupant Jaynel Khongsder (50) sustained injuries and were shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.
On December 19 at around 4.30 pm, one mini truck (AS-18C-2239) capsized at Wageasi NH-62 (NGH). As a result, 12 occupants of the vehicle sustained injuries and were shifted to CHC Dainadubi.
One knocked down
On the evening of December 21, one vehicle (number not known) knocked down Viajy Nath (28) at Demseiniong, Shillong. Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong.
On December 21 at around 9.25 pm, one Maruti Alto car (ML-05K-3491) knocked down Hasting Stone Syiemiong (42 yrs) at Barik Point, Shillong. Victim sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.
Threat
Dr. DSR Marak, Medical Superintendent, Williamnagar Civil Hospital lodged a complaint (December 20) at Williamnagar PS that one Ranjan Marak of Songsak PHC demanded money from the residents of Medical Colony, Williamnagar (EGH) and threatened them with dire consequences.
On December 19, Nuen Momin lodged a complaint at Williamnagar PS that one Subash Marak went to his house at Blkinggre village (EGH) and threatened him with dire consequences.
Theft
On December 20 at around 9 pm, one Aryad Hussain stole one Scorpio vehicle (AP-01C-5091) belonging to T. Judik from Arunachal Pradesh Circuit House, Shillong.
Fraud
Arun Narayan Sharma lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that on December 20 at around 9.25 pm, one Rohit Kumar asked for his ATM and the secret code number and the same was provided to him in good faith. Later, the complainant found that a sum of Rs. 50,000 was fraudulently withdrawn from his account.
Assault
Phiuti Kharkongor lodged a complaint at Lumdiengjri PS that on December 20 at around 11.30 pm, masked miscreants went to her residence at 5th Mile, Upper Shillong, assaulted her husband Sebrin Kurkalang and threatened the family members with dire consequences. Victim sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital Shillong.
One dead
On December 19 at around 7 am, Pintu Dutta (40) was found dead in his shop at Ladrymbai Khliehdupon (EJH).
Body found
On December 18, one unidentified male body (28/29) was found hanging from a tree at Dewrali, Khanapara (RB).
Abduction
Khurdawin Khardewsaw lodged a complaint at Nongstoin PS that on December 13 at around 5 pm, one Anil Taid abducted his (complainant) wife from Mawiaban village (WKH).
NGT ban violation
Marshal Biam lodged a complaint at Khliehriat PS that on the night of December 12, coal was being illegally transported to different cement factories located in East Jaintia Hills.
