Patna:Senior JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar on Friday said that BJP’s victory run would stop in Bihar this year as it resorted to divisive tactics to cover up its failure in not keeping the poll promises.
BJP’s victory chariot would stop here. “BJP ka dheere dheere hawa nikal raha hai…2015 me pakhand ka parajay ho jayega Kumar told PTI. Kumar, who is former Chief Minister of Bihar, said 2014 saw BJP coming to power on false promises of bringing back black money, creating jobs for youths and special status to Bihar among others.
“But, all these promises seem being kept on the back burner and the BJP with the help of radical saffron outfits has resorted to divisive tactics by promo-ting religious conversion and glorifying Nathuram Godse, to divert peoples attention from these agenda,” he said.
About the merger of old Janata parivar, Kumar who is playing an important role in the unity of splinter parties, said “merger is definite and only some formalities are left to be completed.” (PTI)
