Poachers cut horn of a rhino after killing it

Jorhat: A male rhino-ceros was on Sunday killed by poachers and its horn taken away by them in Kaziranga National Park (KNP). The incident took place at the Burapahar range of the KNP early Sunday morning, KNP officials said, adding, six empty cartridges were recovered from the spot. In 2014, a total of 28 rhinoceros were killed by poachers. (PTI)
