Rapper Kanye West     credits reality TV star     wife Kim Kardashian and their one-year-old daughter North for making him a better human being.
West, 37, said on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, his nine-month-old marriage to Kardashian, 34, has taught him how to compromise, which he feels is important in business situations, reported Us magazine. “I’ve definitely learned how to compromise more, which is something you have to understand when you partner with people in business,” West said, while reflecting on his marriage.
“And I’ve learned how to shut up more. Yeah, I think I’m a better human being because of her, and because of my daughter,” he said. West said he has become more responsible now beca-use he feels the need to pro-tect his wife and daughter.
The rapper said the positive change in his outlook towards life is because his family is at the centre of all his actions. “I always have someone to think about going home to. And, you know, something for me to be brave for what I want to do for humanity, but also to be more protective of myself for my family too.
“Cause there are things I’ve done in the past that were considered negative, but I was really jumping in front of the tank for other people or for culture in a way, so now I always have to have that in my mind that I have a family that I have to protect too.” Comedienne and show’s host DeGeneres noted that she saw this change in him, as well. “You are calmer, I think. You don’t seem like, angry… And I think your emotions are grounded in a way that they come out in protection and love… They’re channelled in a different way,” she told him on the show. (PTI)
