Bishwaranjan Das has been awarded Ph.D degree from Utkal University, Bhubaneshwar for his thesis “Electoral politics in Meghalaya: A study of Lok Sabha elections in 2014 and 2009” under the  guidance of  RK Satapathy, professor, Department of Pol. Science, NEHU, Shillong.
Kailash Chandra Das has been awarded Ph.D degree from Utkal University, Bhubaneshwar  for his thesis “Electoral participation in Meghalaya: A study of Assembly elections  in 2003 and 2008” under the guidance of  Professors Dr Smita Nayak,  Professor, Department of Pol. Science, Utkal University and  RK RK Satapathy, professor, Department of Pol. Science, NEHU, Shillong.
