Six screenplays for Twilight short movies revealed
The winning screenplays for the upcoming ‘Twilight’ short films have been announced. The six works were chosen from 1200 submissions by the book’s author Stephenie Meyer, Lionsgate, Women in Film, Facebook and Volvo as a part of the project which is called ‘The Storytellers: New Voices of Twilight Saga’. Among the six works, three of them focus on Edward’s sister Alice, played by Ashley Greene in the movies, reported Aceshowbiz. Titled ‘The Groundskeeper’, one of the works sees events which led Alice to become a vampire. Another work, titled ‘We’ve Met Before’, centres on Alice’s first meeting with Jasper, portrayed by Jackson Rathbone in the movies. (PTI)
Steve Jobs’ biopic set for October release
Filmmaker Danny Boyle’s biopic of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs will release on October 9, this year. The film, adapted from Walter Isaacson’s biography Steve Jobs, is written by Aaron Sorkin and stars Michael Fassbender in the lead role. Actor Seth Rogen stars as co-founder Steve Wozniak, said The Hollywood Reporter. ‘Steve Jobs’ will see competition from ‘Vacation’ reboot, Halle Berry-starrer thriller ‘Kidnap’ and Buena Vista’s ‘The Finest Hours’, starring Chris Pine, as they release on the same date. Wiz Khalifa slams wife Amber Rose online
Rapper Wiz Khalifa has bashed estranged wife Amber Rose in a new Twitter rant. Khalifa, who filed for divorce from the mother of his two-year-old son last September, said he is not interested in reworking on their marriage, reported Us magazine. “No thanks,” said Khalifa, when a fan tweeted him, “get your wife back.” “A woman who would do something to a kid to spite that kids father is a foul creature (sic),” he tweeted, before adding, “Seen my boy. All is well. Khalifa, however, said his son, Sebastian’s smiling face takes away his pain.(PTI)
