Beyonce, Katy Perry, Kanye West to perform at Grammys

Music stars Beyonce,     Kanye West, Katy     Perry, Madonna and Sam Smith among others are set to perform at the upcoming 57th Grammys on February 8.
The event, to be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, will witness performances by Pharrell Williams, who along with Smith and Beyonce leads the Grammys with six nominations, country singer Miranda Lambert and pop diva Lady Gaga.
Pery, 30, will perform to her emotional ballad ‘By The Grace of God’, while Beyon-ce, 33, will sing the gospel song ‘Take My Hand Precious Lord’ before tran-sitioning into John Legend and rapper Common’s Oscar-nominated track ‘Glory’ (‘Selma’). Smith, 23, will have his solo perfor-mance as well as a duet with Mary J Blige.
Williams and Lambert will perform solo. Returning to the Grammys stage after her moving performance with Macklemore, Ryan Lewis, and Mary Lambert last year, pop queen Madon-na is likely to sing tracks from her upcoming album, ‘Rebel Heart’.
Back after a six-year hia-tus, rapper West will debut a ‘never-before-seen solo performance’, according to Time Magazine, as well as appearing alongside Paul McCartney and Rihanna for her new single ‘FourFive-Seconds’. Gaga and musician Tony Bennett will perform a track from their ‘Cheek to Cheek’ album, which is nominated for best traditional pop vocal album.
There will be a collaboration performance from Ed Sheeran, Herbie Hancock, John Mayer, and Questlove.
Other performers include band AC/DC, Ariana Grande, Eric Church and Sia.(PTI)
