Thrissur: A local court on Wednesday denied bail to Kerala-based businessman Mohammed Nisham, charged with murder following the death of a 50-year-old security guard against whom he allegedly rammed his luxury vehicle last month.
District and Sessions Judge B Sundheendrakumar dismissed the bail petition filed by Nisham.
Chandrabose, who was seriously injured last month, battled for his life for 18 days and succumbed to injuries on February 16.
Nisham, owner of King Beedi Co, had allegedly in an inebriated state, physically assaulted the security guard and later rammed him with an SUV, a Hummer, following an argument over delay in opening the gate on January 29 at Sobha city, a posh residential township here. (PTI)
