Demand for appointment of PWD official in Baghmara

SHILLONG: The All A’chik Youth Federation (AAYF) Southern Zone has expressed concern over the delay in appointment of the Sectional Officer, PWD (Roads) under Baghmara Division.
In a memorandum submitted to the Deputy Commissioner in charge of South Garo Hills, T.G. Momin, the group said that the contractors of South Garo Hills were facing lots of hardships due to the delay in appointment of the officer.
The Deputy Commissioner in charge assured that he would look into the matter.
