Impostor assaulted by villagers

On Feb 19, residents of Tynring village (EKH) assaulted one John Jyrwa (32) for allegedly impersonating as an employee of MeECL. As a result, he sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.

Assault

Khristina Bamon lodged a complaint at Khliehriat PS that on Feb 16, unidentified miscreants assaulted her sons Riodame Bamon and Poilang Bamon and also looted money and cell phones from them near Jaintia Cement factory (EJH). As a result, Riodame Bamon sustained injuries.

One shot dead

On Feb 16, one Ewing Rymbai allegedly shot dead one Dabril Truh at Khlo Pdiang Musiang, Lamare Rim (EJH).

Theft

On Feb 12, unknown miscreants stole 38 street lights from the roadside at Iitshyrwat (EKH).
On Feb 16, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-08D-2343) belonging to Richard H.M. Marak from Lower Chandmari (WGH).
On Feb 16 night, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (ML-08D-1755) belonging to Haradhan Koch from his residence at Chandmari, Tura (WGH).
