Plastic bags banned in Williamnagar

WILLIAMNAGAR:  The Williamnagar Municipal Board (WMB) has banned the stocking, sale and use of plastic bags of less than 40 microns thickness and prohibited littering of thermocol glasses and cups.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of WMB has given a stern warning that the violators will be penalised by imposing a fine of Rs. 1 lakh.
