Two dead in road mishap in city

SHILLONG: Two persons were killed when the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a dumper truck at Shillong Peak Junction, Upper Shillong on Saturday.
The incident occurred when the motorcycle (ML-05J-2904) driven by Mayborn Ranee (22) and carrying Nowell Lamare (19) in the pillion dashed against the truck (ML-05L-2816).
Ranee died on the spot while Lamare succumbed to his injuries at Shillong Civil Hospital.
