BSF function
Border Security Force, Meghalaya Frontier organized a cultural evening on the occasion of its “Golden Jubilee Year” celebration at IIM, Shillong on Friday. The event witnessed song and dance performances by participants including school children and members of the cultural unit of IIM, Shillong. The Jazz and Brass band of the BSF also enthralled the audience on the occasion.
DDK programme
DDK Shillong will telecast a live panel discussion on the various aspects of the Union Budget comprising of eminent analysts including bankers and economists from 3 pm onwards on Saturday. The programme will also be available on satellite mode. Two special news bulletins will be telecast at 3pm and 4 pm on the occasion.
Marwari Panchayat
The first executive committee body meeting of Shree Marwari Panchayat (SMP) was held at Rajasthan Vishram Bhawan, Shillong on February 25. The meeting nominated Omprakash Agarwala as president of SMP. The meeting also discussed at length the programmes to be taken up in the near future which include Hashya Kabi Sammelan to be organised on March 1 at R.B. Anupchand Hindi Secondary School, Keating Road.
