MSM chief Michael N Syiem has clarified that the statement quoted from East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner Sanjay Goyal’s observation (ST, March 3 MSM chief to go on indefinite hunger strike) should have read as “the most common problems in Meghalaya is single parentage and broken homes but most of the people are not willing or comfortable to discuss this problem” and not as reported.
