TURA: The GNLA has claimed that the allegation made by police that the outfit had thrown a crude bomb at a petrol pump in Shallang in West Khasi Hills resulting in the death of two employees was mere guesswork.
“Of late there are countless gangs and petty dacoits who are extorting money and serving demand notes in the name of the GNLA. There is no demand note served from our side to the pump manager as alleged by police,” the joint publicity secretary of the outfit Garo Mandei Ch Marak said.
“Police should catch these dacoits who are harassing public in our name,” he said.
