Joe Jonas opens restaurant
Singer Joe Jonas has become the latest celebrity to turn into a restaurateur. The former Jonas Brothers singer has opened a new eatery in Santa Monica, California called Hinterland, reported Ace Showbiz. Joe announced the opening of his new restaurant through Twitter and Instagram. On Twitter, the 25-year-old star posted a caption of the eatery alongside map direction to the venue. Meanwhile on Instagram, he shared a glimpse of the menu and captioned it, “Open for business #Hinterland #YUM #cristal.” Hinterland is said to be a German word that refers to land behind a coastline. Its fare, as reported by EaterLA, is “a seasonal Southern Atlantic (think Charleston and Savannah) restaurant using local produce, with a full raw bar.”(PTI)
Madonna says Kanye West her black version
Madonna, who has collborated with Kanye West on her latest album ‘Rebel Heart’, believes the rapper is a version of herself. West often hits headlines for his divisive views but Madonna believes they are comrades in the “envelope-pushing genre”. “Kanye is the new Madonna. Kanye is the black Madonna. We know, and recognize, that we have that in common. We’re comrades in the envelope-pushing genre,” she told the New York Daily News. Madonna admits making mistakes when she is vulnerable. “I’m only human. I’d like to get to the point where nothing can shake me. Sometimes I’m there, sometimes I’m not.” The 56-year-old star, however, is not scared of being judged by others, especially women on her age. “I earned my stripes. … I’m Madonna. Will Smith imparts driving lessons to son
Will Smith’s son Jaden has revealed his father is teaching him how to drive. The ‘Focus’ star’s 16-year-old son Jaden has recently got his learner’s permit and has revealed his ‘awesome’ father is teaching him ‘a lot’ about driving, reported Billboard magazine. “My dad is awesome. I wouldn’t be where I am right now if it wasn’t for all of the things he’s taught me. He’s taught me a lot about driving and just about life. And I love his songs, I go back and re-listen to those songs and the newer songs he’s made in the studio too,” Jaden said. While Jaden takes musical inspiration from his father, his 14-year-old sister Willow revealed she takes inspiration from her mother Jada Pinkett Smith. “When I was younger, my brother and I toured with my mom’s band, Wicked Wisdom, so heavy metal was one of the first types of music I heard a lot and I’m still really inspired by it.(PTI)
I have to workout because I love to eat: Fergie
Singer Fergie is enjoying getting back into shape following the birth of her 18-month-old son Axl. The 39-year-old singer said she has to work out because she “loves to eat”, reported E!Online. “Find your local gym and get into different classes. That makes it exciting (and) you’re doing new moves. You don’t even realise you’re working out it because you’re focusing on ‘How do I get this right?’ But you’re having to control muscles so it’s making you sweat. “Keep it interesting… I have (to do) treadmill, elliptical, bike and dance. I do the bands – I do it all. I have to work out because I love to eat – I had two Double-Doubles last weekend!,” she said. (PTI)
