Thief nabbed
Bijoy Kaur lodged a complaint that one Banu Sunar was caught red handed while he was stealing shoes from his shop at Didar Market, Police Bazar, Shillong. The accused had earlier also stolen shoes from the shop of Md. Riaz Qurashi. Police arrested the accused.

Trespass
Purdalin Nongbsap lodged a complaint that on March 14 noon, four persons – Bred Nongbsap, Estik Nongbsap, Wanboklang Nongbsap and Skhemborlang Nongbsap – trespassed into her residence at Lawmei Pdengshnong in East Khasi Hills, destroyed her piggery shed and threatened her and her family members with dire consequences. Police arrested the accused persons.

Misappropriation
Pawan Bawri of Mawkhar Point, Shillong, lodged a complaint that his employee Kiran Dey had misappropriated Rs.8,04,871 and had gone missing since March 11, 2015.

Theft
Subhadra Pradhan, Headmistress, Gorkha Secondary School, 3rd Mile, Upper Shillong, lodged a complaint that on March 10 unknown miscreants had stolen fifteen GI pipes from the water pipeline of the school.
