WKH music school celebrates silver jubilee

NONGSTOIN: A music school set up by Jingiaseng Samla Presbyterian Nongpyndeng District in 1990 at Mawkhlam Nongpyndeng (Wahriat) in West Khasi Hills has completed a 25-year-long journey emerging as one of the top music schools in the district.
The Jingiaseng Samla Presbyterian celebrated the silver jubilee of the school on Wednesday at a function attended by Tbn. S.S. Syiemlieh, Director, Assembly Institute of Music, Shillong and Nongstoin MDC L.G. Nongsiej, among others.
The celebration began with the inauguration of a plaque followed by a short meeting organised at Mawkhlam Nongpyndeng Dorbar Hall.
During the celebration the school souvenir was also released.
