Two held for selling Marijuana
West Jaintia Hills Police arrested two persons – Pon Lywait of Wah Nangbah and Nidawan Mulieh of Ialong – from Iawmusiang, Jowai on Thursday for illegal possession of marijuana weighing around 400 grams. The JSM West Jaintia Circle and the HNYF Eastern Region along with police personnel apprehended the accused.

Condemnation
The BJP Youth Wing (BJYM) has condemned the Meghalaya government for imposing Administrator’s Rule in the KHADC. BJYM president Egenstar Kurkalang stated that this act has violated and trespassed the democratic rule in the state. BJYM asked the government to withdraw its decision immediately and refer the matter to the Governor for his views.

Concert
