HDR visits Mawphanlur

NONGSTOIN: Minister in charge Co-operative Society, HDR Lyngdoh on Monday visited Mawphanlur, one of the well known tourist spots in West Khasi Hills.
During his visit, Lyngdoh informed that the government will soon start the black topping from Markasa to Mawphanlur for the convenience of tourists visiting the area. He also said that a road connecting Mawphanlur to Mawthadraishan view point will also be implemented soon.
Lyngdoh also urged the cooperative society at Nongstoin to coordinate with the Fishery, Soil and other departments to bring developmental schemes to Mawphanlur.
