Afridi criticises umpires after T20 defeat
Mirpur: Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi has criticised umpiring decisions following their seven-wicket loss to Bangladesh in the one-off Twenty20 International here. Bangladesh registered their maiden win over Pakistan in T20Is at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium here on Friday. Afridi was given out caught behind by Mushfiqur Rahim off Mustafizur Rahman. TV replays, however, suggested no edge but the ball seemed to get a slight deviation after going past the bat, reports bdnews24.com. “I just told him (umpire) that I wasn’t out in my opinion. But people make mistakes. The match referee must have seen it. So ICC is watching this,” Afridi, who was a member of the World Twenty20-winning Pakistan squad in 2009, said. (IANS)
