Pawan Hans to be operational for five months in Nagaland

Kohima: The Pawan Hans Limited which has launched its services at Dimapur Airport in Nagaland will be operational till October next.
According to an official statement, the newly launched service would now take over the previous operators, King Rotors and Thumby Aviation Limited.
The General Manager of Nagaland State Transport (NST), Senti Pongener yesterday announced replacement of the old service by the Pawan Hans Limited for a period of five months.
Dimapur Airport Director Mughavi Zhimo welcomed the new service provider and encouraged it to provide safe, secure and better passenger facilities to the people of Nagaland. He hoped that the company would provide good service not only in Dimapur but to all the interior areas of Nagaland.
Deputy General Manager (Operations) of Pawan Hans, Captain Ajay Srivastav assured  safety first as the company’s top priority while promising to provide scheduled flights.
Pawan Hans Eastern Region General Manager Sanjay Kumar informed that the company would provide choppers even at night, in cases of emergency, with well-trained pilots at any given time, the statement said. (UNI)
