5 Kuki ultras held in Manipur

Imphal: Five militants belonging to outlawed Kuki National Liberation Front (KNLF) were arrested with arms and ammunition by the Army from Churachandpur district in Manipur, a defence release said on Saturday.
The five activists were held on September 8 last from S Songgel village, the release said.
Army recovered two 9 mm carbine machine guns with magazines, one 9 mm pistol with magazine and eight 9 mm live rounds of ammunition from their possession, the release said.
All the arrested KNLF militants were handed over to Imphal Police station. (PTI)
