Theft attempt
On September 11, at around 1 am, one Khlainbor Mynsong (33) trespassed into the premises of St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Laitumkhrah with an intention to commit theft. However, he was apprehended by the watchman and handed over to Police.
Fake certificate
One birth certificate issued purportedly by Rynjah Dispensary, Shillong in the name of Joy Siddartha Dutt was found to be fake.
Assault
A woman (36 yrs) lodged a complaint that on September 10, at around 3:20 am, one Stonlen Syiemlieh assaulted Rickystone Dkhar (38 yrs) and the complainant at Polo Bazar, Shillong and also molested her. Police arrested the accused.
On September  10 morning, one Bokstar John Lyngkhoi (19 yrs) assaulted George Lyngkhoi (37 yrs) at Nongphud village (WKH) and also threatened him with dire consequences.
On September 10 night, unidentified miscreants assaulted Brandon Lyngdoh (28) and Wansuk Kharpuri (20 yrs) at Laitumkhrah Bazar, Shillong. Victims sustained injuries and were shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.
Accident
On September 10, at around 11:30 am, an accident took place between one Bolero (number not known) and one Innova car (AS-11H-4010) at Lad Smit (EKH) in which six occupants of both the vehicles sustained injuries and were shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong.
Loot
On September 8, at around 6:30 pm, one unidentified armed miscreant looted cash Rs. 10,000 from the house of Devaram Devasi at Dermile, Tura (WGH).
On September 8 night, four unidentified miscreants looted cash Rs. 1,000, two mobile phones and an ATM card from Liuberth N Sangma at Jamge village (EGH).
