Konkona, Ranvir to separate after 5 years of marriage
Bollywood actors Konkona Sen-Sharma and Ranvir Shorey announced their separation after just a little over five years of tying the knot. According to sources, the couple would continue to co-parent their four-year-old son Haroon. Konkona made the announcement on social networking site Twitter by posting ”Ranvir and I have mutually decided to separate, but continue to be friends and co-parent our son. Will appreciate your support. Thank you.” Even Ranvir confirmed it on social media platform by posting, ”Konkona and I have mutually decided to separate, but continue to be friends and co-parent our son. Will appreciate your support. Thank you.” The duo had been dating for three years before they decided to get married. (UNI)
Betty Cantrell crowned Miss America 2016
Miss Georgia Betty Cantrell won the Miss America 2016 title during the show held in Atlantic City. Beating out 51 other contestants, she succeeded last year’s winner Kira Kazantsev from New York, reported Ace Showbiz. The 21-year-old beauty, who sang opera as her talent, was asked about whether New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady cheated during the question and answer session of the competition. She seemed to flounder when answering the question. Another interesting answer came from Miss Alabama Meg McGuffin when asked why Donald Trump’s leading. While she called Chris Christie and Jeb Bush “incredible,” she said that Republicans should be “terrified” of Mr Trump. Miss Alabama Guffin ended up as the fourth runner-up. Miss Mississippi Hannah Roberts was the first runner-up, Miss Colorado Kelley Johnson was named the second runner-up, followed by Miss Louisiana April Nelson. Serving as judges for the pageant were Danica McKellar, Zendaya Coleman, “Shark Tank” star Kevin O’Leary, Amy Purdy, country singer Brett Eldredge and Navy Seal Chris Kyle’s widow Taya Kyle. (PTI)

Hugh Grant and former partner Elizabeth Hurley reu nited for a chat and a walk through a London neigh
bourhood. Grant and Hurley, both 55, looked friendly and casual as they walked down a tree-lined street in the English city, reported People magazine. The “Royals” actress kept her feet cozy in furry boots, worn with a simple sweater and jeans. Grant spotted athletic shorts and sneakers. The pair dated for 13 years, before ending the relationship in 2000. They’ve remained close friends in the time since – Grant is even the godfather to Hurley’s son Damian, 13, with Steve Bing. (PTI)
