Training concludes in Conservation Training Institute

Shillong: 33 trainees of the 42nd Batch Field Assistant Course 2014-2015 were declared successful at a glittering function held at Conservation Training Institute in Byrnihat, Ri Bhoi District.
Juneshaibor Lyngdoh of South West Khasi Hills Soil and Water Conservation Division, Mawkyrwat was given the PR Mawthoh Memorial Award for securing the Highest Mark in Soil Science in the Field Assistant Course.
Juneshaibor Lyngdoh, the Topper of the training course was also given the P.S. Ingty Award. Lyngdoh was over joyed to take home these awards in the form of glittering trophies and certificates.
The Bor Bis Prize was given to Juneshaibor Lyngdoh, Dishosroy Kharkongor of Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council and Golden Star Suchiang of  Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council for bagging the First, Second and Third place in the Country Race.
The David Memorial Award for Best Sports Person in Indoor Games was given Minto Tasar of Arunachal Pradesh Rural Works Department.
