City-based media person awarded

SHILLONG: Kamal Kumar Jhunjhunwala, Editor-in-Chief of Eastern Panorama magazine, was awarded the Karmayogi Award 2015 at Mavlankar Hall, Constitution Club, New Delhi, on September 13.
The award was given by Amit Shah, President of Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of Jitendra Singh, Union DoNER Minister.  The award was conferred to Jhunjhunwala for bringing out nationalist magazine Eastern Panorama continuously for the last 23 years and successfully spreading nationalism in North East India.
The Karmayogi Award 2015 was organized by My Home India, an NGO founded by Sunil Deodhar who is also Chairman of the NGO. The NGO works for the development of the people of North Eastern region.
