Silver jubilee celebration
The Meghalaya College Non teaching Employees Association has invited its members from 15 deficit colleges to attend the closing ceremony of its Silver Jubilee celebration to be held at St Edmund’s College at 1 PM on September 26.

The Commissioner and Secretary, Meghalaya,  L. Diengdoh has been appointed as Electoral Roll Observer for the current Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls with reference to 01.01.2016 as the qualifying date in East Khasi Hills District. This was informed by the District Election Officer, East Khasi Hills.
Clarification
Director of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, JS Jyrwa has clarified that the MeECL had replaced the   old transformer installed earlier at Mawlai Abattoir by a new one on August 26 and the same has been verified by the Executive Engineer (CEW), Shillong AH& Vety.
World Rabies Day
The East Khasi Hills District Unit of Meghalaya Veterinary Services Association will celebrate World Rabies Day on September 25. To mark the occasion, the District Unit will organise an anti rabies vaccination camp for dogs at Laitkor and at Nongkrem veterinary dispensary.

Meghalaya Bridge Association will organize the 43rd Meghalaya State Bridge Championship from September 26-27.
Workshop
Dwar Jingkyrem will hold a workshop on “Dyslexia and Developing Reading Skills” on September 22. The workshop will be conducted by Manjulika Majumdar, Guest Faculty of the Indian Institute of Cerebral palsy, Kolkata.
