Awareness programme on alcoholism and drug addiction held

SHILLONG: The Department of  Value Education, St. Anthony’s College, Shillong in collaboration with Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous organised a one-week-long workshop recently for the students of the college.
Rector of the College and Head of the Department of Value Education Rev. Fr. Sagi Stephen, in his inaugural talk, spoke on how as an educational institution the college can highlight the ills of the dreaded disease of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.
The resource persons of the workshop were members of the Alcoholics Anonymous.
