SHILLONG: An infant baby girl was found abandoned in the house of one Monokoli Kharsati at Umkdait on September 19. The baby is now under the care of Lawei Baphyrnai Specialized Adoption Agency, Shillong and any person having information regarding the baby can contact, office of the District Child Protection Officer, Lawei Baphyrnai and Child Welfare Committee within 60 days failing which the child will be declared legally free for adoption.
