Woman electrocuted in SGH

BAGHMARA: On September 30, at about 10 am, a woman, identified as Nemji N. Sangma (48 yrs) was electrocuted at Dankipara village (SGH).
Necessary formalities were observed and matter is being enquired by the police.

Accident claims one

TURA: On September 18, at around 6 pm, one truck (ML-08D-5334) driven by Abdul Rahman knocked down Monan Marak (57 yrs) at Thakuranbari (SWGH).
As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was removed to CHC Ampati and later referred to Tura Christian Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on September 21. A criminal case has been registered in this connection.
