Church torched by miscreants in Garo Hills

TURA: A Church belonging to the Jesus Light for All Nations Ministry was torched by unknown miscreants on October 2, according to a delayed report here.
The Church is located about five kilometers from Rongram between Wa’ram Songma, Retigre, Wa’ram A’sim, Boldak A’pal and Te’bronggre villages in West Garo Hills District.
According to Order R Marak, Senior Pastor of the Ministry, the incident took place at around 5:30 pm in the evening in which musical equipment worth around Rs.1,28,820, 25 chairs and 13 bundles of tin roofing were completely destroyed.
However, the Church authorities neither reported the incident to the police nor filed an FIR.
