SHILLONG: Following the request from the local Dorbar Shnong, the Shillong Recreation Ground Trust has decided to restrict entry of vehicles from the main gate near First Ground, Polo to curb anti-social activities in and around the field.
“Apart from government vehicles on duty and vehicles holding passes from Shillong Sports Association (SSA), Meghalaya Football Association and Sports Authority of India (SAI) offices, entry of other vehicles will be restricted in the area,” SRGT general secretary Danny Pariat said in statement issued here on Monday. He further said that teams participating in the events in MFA ground can contact the association secretary for parking arrangement.
