Sanbor Shullai wants to join Cabinet?

SHILLONG: Chief Minister Mukul Sangma on Monday remained non-committal on the issue of reshuffle of his cabinet with indications emerging that the situation is not conducive for him to effect changes in the ministry.
When asked about the possible reshuffle in the ministry, the Chief Minister told reporters, “I will tell you when there is such a move”.
Earlier in the day, to the same question, the AICC general secretary in charge Meghalaya Narayanasamy, who is camping in Shillong, said that the issue of reshuffle was the prerogative of the Chief Minister.
The pending issue of cabinet reshuffle has taken a new twist on Sunday when the former Deputy Speaker and NCP legislator Sanbor Shullai ,who is supporting the Congress led MUA-II  handed over a letter to the AICC general secretary.
Both Narayanasamy and Shullai are tightlipped over the content of the letter, though sources indicated that the letter was regarding induction of the NCP member in the cabinet after he quit the post of Deputy Speaker to help Congress win the non- confidence motion moved by the Opposition against the Speaker AT Mondal in the Assembly in March this year.
